Come as you are — a company, a partnership, a trust, or a person starting out. Below is the work we do in India, grouped so you can find your way. Write and tell us what you need; we will say, plainly, what we can take on.

Service packages

How the work is grouped

These are ways the work often sits together. They are not a price list. When you write, we will say what belongs in the engagement.

  • Company and LLP set-up

    Typically: name and incorporation filings, first statutory steps, and the work needed to commence.

  • Annual company-law compliance

    Typically: yearly Registrar of Companies filings and the company-law work that sits with them.

  • GST and income-tax filings

    Typically: GST returns and income-tax returns the firm may take as tax consultancy.

  • Books, TDS and XBRL

    Typically: day-to-day books, TDS compliances, and XBRL where the law requires it.

  • Clear Books Desk

    Typically: for HUFs, partnerships and proprietorships that already keep books — reviewed financial statements and related tax working papers. Work begins only on a written mandate.

  • Startup and not-for-profit set-up

    Typically: early-stage registrations, NGO, 12A, 80G and related CSR filings.

  • Secretarial review

    Typically: secretarial and compliance reviews, including secretarial audit where that appointment is available.

How the office works

A contemporary practice

We keep notes and research in one place, and mail and files in one system. Current tools help us research, map books, and prepare drafts. Every filing and opinion is reviewed by the Company Secretary, who remains responsible. Tools do not replace judgement.

    Formation and the filings needed to commence.

  • Company law and ROC

    Companies Act work and Registrar of Companies compliances, including private companies and OPCs, and MCA charge filings (CHG-1, CHG-4).

  • Due diligence

    Secretarial and compliance reviews, including secretarial audit where that appointment is available.

Tax and accounts

  • Income-tax and GST

    Return filing and GST support as tax consultancy.

  • Accounts, book-keeping and TDS

    Day-to-day books and TDS compliances.

  • Non-corporate financial statements

    For HUFs, partnerships and proprietorships that keep books, we prepare financial statements and related tax working papers under the applicable guidance. Work begins only on a written mandate.

  • HUF capital, gifts and clubbing questions

    Where family capital and gifts sit in an HUF, we help set out the facts for a defensible return. This is information and filing support, not litigation.

  • Seafarer and non-resident individuals

    For individuals whose work takes them outside India, we look at residential status and the Indian return that follows. Facts differ; we do not give a one-line answer on this site.

  • XBRL

    XBRL filings under AS and Ind AS for listed and unlisted companies.

    Internal audit under the Companies Act. This is not a statutory audit of financial statements.

  • Credit-file readiness

    When a lender asks for a pack, we can help assemble and index the papers the bank typically expects — after written instruction.

FEMA, SEBI and insolvency information

  • FEMA and RBI-related advisory

    Foreign-exchange consultancy. Recovery work is not offered.

  • Capital-markets and SEBI-related advisory

    Securities and listing-related company-secretarial work where the member is eligible.

  • Insolvency and restructuring

    Information on these processes. The firm does not claim appointment as an insolvency professional unless a separate registration is held.
