About

Precision in purpose, from the Firm’s founding to the work we do today.

Mukul Nimrani & Co. was founded in Lucknow in 2018 by CS Mukul Nimrani, who remains its principal. The Firm’s purpose is to provide practical, reliable advice on Indian company law, tax, accounts and set-up — advice a client can act on.

Our strength is an understanding of the legal, regulatory and commercial environment in which the client operates. We act for companies and LLPs, and for partnerships, trusts, societies and individuals. Groups outside India instruct us for their Indian regulatory work.

History

The practice began as a company-secretarial office in Hazratganj. It grew with the work clients asked of it: tax, books, and the Indian filings of groups whose other offices lie elsewhere. That remains the geography of the practice. The work is Indian law. The clients may be here, or they may instruct us from overseas.

The Firm is at Heritage Apartment, 5 Park Road, Hazratganj, Lucknow - 226001.

Our team

The practice is led by its principal, with chartered-accountancy and company-secretarial colleagues on the work the Firm undertakes.

  • Principal

    CS Mukul Nimrani

Founder of the Firm. Company-secretarial practice, Indian regulatory filings and the engagement of the office.

  • Chartered Accountant

    CA Harsha Amarnani

Tax and accounts — income-tax, GST and the books that sit behind filings and returns.

  • Company Secretary

    CS Reena Rajguru

Company-secretarial and ROC work — company law filings and ongoing MCA compliance.

Purpose

  • Mission

To give clear, timely advice on Indian compliance, so that statutory work is done as it should be, and the client’s value is not lost to it.

  • Vision

To be the Firm clients return to for Indian company-secretarial, tax and accounts work — whether they are in India, or instruct us from abroad.

Approach

  • We commit to the statutory work first. The commercial question follows, where that is what we have been asked to consider.
  • Every filing is reviewed by the member, who remains responsible for it. Tools assist research and drafting; they do not replace judgement.
  • We write in plain language. If a position cannot be stated simply, it is not yet understood.
  • Our work is Indian law and Indian filings. We do not hold the Firm out for compliance in other jurisdictions.

How we work

  1. 01

    Instruction

You write with the entity, the question, and the papers you have.

  2. 02

    Scope

The Firm sets out what it will do, who will sign, and what falls outside. Visiting this site does not create an engagement.

  3. 03

    Execution

Papers are prepared with care. Current tools assist research and drafts. The member reviews each filing.

  4. 04

    Responsibility

The Company Secretary remains responsible for every filing and opinion that leaves the office.
